Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is an all-India entrance exam facilitating 600+ B-schools to give admissions based on this score. The exam is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA). The test appears four times every year – February, May, September, and December. MAT February 2023 registrations have opened up on the official website of AIMA and will be closed by February end.
There are three test modes available for candidates to choose from, including Internet-Based Test (IBT), Paper Based Test (PBT), and Computer Based Test (CBT). IBT was introduced due to the Covid-19 situation in India. Internet-Based Test allows candidates to appear for the exam within the comfort of their homes.

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

- Candidates studying in the final year of their degree are eligible to apply only if they complete graduation before applying for admissions to B-Schools.
- There is no minimum score required to apply for the MAT Exam.

- There is no work experience required, but weightage may be given to them at the time of admission.
